Deputy Minister for Education, Professor Kingsley Nyarko, has urged Organised Labour to reconsider its planned nationwide strike over concerns about illegal mining, commonly known as galamsey. Addressing attendees at the Ghana Teacher Prize event in Kumasi on Thursday, October 3, Prof. Nyarko emphasised that industrial action may not be the most effective way to address the issue.
