It has emerged that the Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, performed exceedingly well during the just ended vetting of aspirants vying to lead the New Patriotic Party in the 2024 general elections. The vetting committee chaired by former Speaker of Parliament, Prof Aaron Mike Oquaye, last Monday, July 10, presented their report to the National Council through the General Secretary of the party. Our sources indicates that, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia obtained the highest mark among his contenders in the race.
