The Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Benito Owusu-Bio has announced that a new edifice for the Police Service will be ready in the second week of February 2023. This was after he had toured the 504, one and two-bedroom housing units being developed for the Service. An anti-robbery unit personnel of the Ashanti Regional Police Command and his family have been burnt to death in a fire outbreak. The fire destroyed the police barracks where the officer and his family lived. According to reports, he died together with his wife and child.
