Police Arrest 5 Armed Robbers, Retrieve Weapons Police in the Ashanti Region have arrested five armed robbers suspected to have robbed a gold dealer. The arrest follows an intelligence-led operation on the Accra-Kumasi Highway. In a statement dated May 28, the Ashanti Regional Command disclosed that the suspected robbers stole gold from the dealer at gunpoint at Akyem Adukrom.
