Arguments are ongoing on an alleged leaked tape seeking the removal of the Inspector General Of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare before the 2024 general election to pave to allegedly pave the way for the NPP to rig it. The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, has directed the establishment of a seven-member special committee to investigate the leaked tape containing the removal of the IGP.
