  Bono regional secretary for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), David Boakye has said that, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is reluctant in intellectual debates. According to him, the NDC lacks the requisite intellectual abilities to indulge in debates. "It will take 150 years to rebuild CPP" the CEO of Public Sector Reform, Thomas Kusi Boafo has opined. To him, the Convention People's Party has lost its territories to the opposition, National Democratic Congress. Speaking in an interview on Wontumi TV, on 26th February, 2024, he emphasised that, the CPP can only thrive if NDC is never voted into power to lead the country. "The CPP have lost their territories to NDC. The NDC has overstepped their boundaries and has forcefully taken that of CPP. It will take long to rebuild " he said.
