NHIS Cards To Be Phased Out By December 2021 The National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) card is to be phased out by end of December 2021 to give way to the usage of the Ghana Card to access health care. In line with this, the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) is intensifying its public education on the need to link the NHIS card with the Ghana card to make the transition smooth.
