NCA Short Code To Help Verify Number Of SIM Cards Linked To A Ghana Card

The National Communication Authority (NCA) has revealed that it is now working with operators to build a shortcode that the public can use to check whether their numbers have been connected to their Ghana cards. According to a Facebook post by the NCA, the code is intended for individual subscribers to verify if their numbers have been linked. The Mobile Money Agents Association of Ghana says the deactivation of SIM Cards by the National Communication Authority will push their members out of business. The High Court in Accra presided over by His Lordship Justice Charles Edward Ekow Baiden has on Monday, 21st November, 2022 ruled in favour of the National Communications Authority (NCA) on the SIM Card registration.
