Coup Plot: Six Sentenced To Death For Treason

Six individuals accused in connection with an alleged coup plot have been found guilty of conspiring to commit high treason and committing high treason. Among the accused were Dr. Mac Palm (now deceased), Donya Kafui alias Ezor, Bright Allan Debrah Ofosu, Yohannes Zikpi, Warrant Officer Class Two Esther Saan Dekuwine, Corporal Seidu Abubakar, Lance Corporal Ali Solomon, and Corporal Sylvester Akanpewon. A 40-year-old man has allegedly killed his 72-year-old stepfather, Kennedy Atokble, at New Edubiase in the Adansi South District of the Ashanti Region. According to reports, the suspect, Peter Yao Wasser attacked his stepfather with a axe whiles he was asleep in his room around 11:00 pm.
