Telecommunications giant MTN Ghana has begun implementing its announced price adjustments across all its products and services. In a circular issued to customers on November 24, 2023, MTN said the new prices will kick in from Tuesday, November 28, 2023. The surge in price affects calls, SMS, data and other offerings of MTN. As part of an effort to improve ICT education, MTN Ghana has donated 4 laptops to New Asafo Basic School as its Mark Y'ello Care event. MTN Ghana Chief Executive Officer, Selorm Adadevoh performed the donation. Before the donation, Selorm Adadevoh paid a courtesy call on the Municipal Chief Executive of Asokwa Constituency, Hon. Akwannuasa Gyimah. Some staff of MTN Ghana engaged in classroom interaction with the students. MTN MoMo Customers To Present ID Cards For All MoMo Cash- Out Transactions MTN MoMo has announced that effective 2nd April 2021, all MoMo customers will be required to present valid ID cards before any MoMo cash-out (withdrawal) transaction can be processed. As a result of this directive, all MoMo agents will be required to select the ID type and enter the ID card number presented by the customer before the transaction can be completed.
