Mobile Money transactions hit record high of ₵1.912 trillion

The January 2024 Summary of Economic and Financial Data by the Bank of Ghana shows that total mobile money transactions hit a record high of ₵1.912 trillion in 2023. In the first 10 months of 2023, the total Mobile Money transactions had reached a record ₵1.527 trillion compared with ₵1.07 trillion in 2022. The figures from the Bank of Ghana showed that December 2023 recorded the biggest mobile money transaction value of ₵199.3 billion.
