Mason Greenwood: Man United Agree £26.7M Deal With Marseille For English Winger

Manchester United have accepted a €31.6m (£26.7m) offer for Mason Greenwood from Marseille, with the forward to sign for the Ligue 1 club subject to his terms being finalised. The deal is for a guaranteed €27.6m plus €4m in add-ons and if the 22-year-old can come to contractual agreement with Marseille and joins, his troubled United career will end. Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood has met senior football figures at the club for what have been described as “constructive discussions” about his exit from Old Trafford. BBC Sport has been told Greenwood did not take part in the first day of United’s pre-season training on Monday, and there is no imminent likelihood of that situation changing.
