Ghanaian rapper and presidential aspirant in the ongoing University of Ghana Students’ Representative Council (UGSRC) race, Maradona Adjei Yeboah, also known as Guru, has been disqualified. In a letter released on August 16, 2024, and signed by the electoral commissioner of the UGSRC, the rapper and his running mate, were disqualified over their non-resident status in accordance with Article 30 (1) (a) of the UGSRC constitution.
