Cabinet Approves Establishment Of Ghana National Roads Authority

Cabinet has granted approval for the formation of a unified roads management body, the Minister of the Roads and Highways, Kwasi Amoako-Atta has disclosed. According to a GraphicOnline report, the body, which would be known as the Ghana National Roads Authority, will consist of the Ghana Highway Authority, the Departments of Urban Roads, and Feeder Roads. Angry Roads Minister Arrests, Forces Illegal Miners To Wash Off Mud On Tarred Road

Angry Minister of Roads and Highway, Kwasi Amoako Atta ordered the arrest of two illegal miners and forced them to wash mud on portions of tarred Akrofufu to Twapease road in Atiwa West District in Eastern region. The illegal miners were carting excavator with low bed truck vehicle from their mining site near the roadside spreading mud on the tarred road and causing gridlock.
