At least 40 shops have been destroyed at the Kwadaso Main Market in the Ashanti Region after a fire outbreak. The fire incident, which reportedly occurred around midnight, ravaged through the wooden and metallic shops, lasting for hours. The fire was extinguished in the early hours of Thursday, August 1, by personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service.
