Asante Kotoko were eliminated from the CAF Champions League preliminary round after losing 3-1 on penalties to Burkinabe side RC Kadiogo on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi. The Ghanaians lost the match 1-0, tying the aggregate score at 1-1, but three misses in the shootout sealed their fate. Asante Kotoko recorded a 1 – 0 victory over Burkinabe side RC Kadiogo in the first leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
