Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) is in mourning following the untimely death of a student, Afia Dedaa Osae-Atuah. The victim, a third year Geography student was on her way to repair her laptop when the incident occurred. She was struck while standing at the shoulder of the road by a ‘trotro’ which had failed brakes and veered off its lane. The unfortunate news was confirmed through an announcement on the university’s official page.
