The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has taken a stance against hospitals with outstanding bills. They have issued demand notice and threatened disconnection from the national grid if payments are not done within 72 hours. A total of 91 health facilities across the country owe ECG, with a combined outstanding amount totaling GH¢261 million.
