Hon Sanid Adamu Suleman

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ahafo Ano North, Hon Sanid Adamu Suleman, has gone to the supreme court over the Speaker's ruling of declaring the Dome-Kwabenya Member of Parliament seat vacant. The Speaker of Ghana’s Parliament Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, on Wednesday 26th October, 2022  ruled that the report from the Privileges Committee cannot be automatic to declare Hon. Sarah Adwoa Safo‘s seat vacant. According to him Parliament must debate and vote on the ruling before the final decision is taken.
