NHIS Medicines And Service Tariffs Upwardly Adjusted

The National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) has upwardly adjusted tariffs for medicines and services covered by the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) in the last seven months. The latest increment effective, February 1, 2023, was agreed in consultation with the Ministry of Health,  the NHIA Governing Board, Executive Management, and other critical stakeholders in the health sector. A doctor at the Noble Trust Hospital, Dr George Donkor, has revealed that reusing fry oil can cause hypertension.   His comment comes after Daily Graphic’s recent report of 35% of adult hypertensive.
