Ghana international, Harrison Afful, has extended his contract at Major League Soccer side Charlotte FC for the 2023 season, with the club retaining an option to extend for another year. As part of the deal, Afful, 36, will also take up a scouting role at the club, helping discover new talents for the North Carolina-based outfit. The 2020 MLS Cup Winner will enter his ninth season in Major League Soccer where he has amassed over 200 league appearances in all competitions.
