2 Out Of 10 Married Men Had Two Or More Sexual Partners In 2022 – GSS Report

A survey conducted by the Ghana Demographic and Health Survey of the Ghana Statistical Service has revealed that two out of ten married men had two or more sexual partners in 2022. Out of the 7,044 men interviewed for the survey, the report revealed that 15 percent of men aged 15–49 had two or more sexual partners in the last 12 months, and 35 percent had sexual intercourse in the last 12 months with a person who was neither their wife nor lived with them. Producer Price Inflation Falls To 9.6%

The Producer Price Index (PPI) for October 2023 fell to 9.6%, data from the Ghana Statistical Service has revealed. This represents a 15.5 percentage point decrease relative to the rate recorded in September 2023 (25.1%). However, the month-on-month change in the PPI between September 2023 and October 2023 was 1.1%. According to the data from the GSS, the producer price inflation in the industry less construction sector decreased to 9.0% in October 2023 from 26.4% in September 2023. Ghana’s economy contracts by 3.2% in second quarter – Statistical Service

Ghana’s Statistical Service (GSS) has reported a 3.2% contraction of the country’s economy for the second quarter of this year for the first time since 1983. The data provided also showed that Ghana’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the 2nd quarter of this year increased from GHS 85.7 billion compared to GHS 84.3 billion recorded for the same period in 2019.
