President of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC), Ben Nunoo Mensah has backed calls to dismiss Otto Addo as head coach of the Black Stars. The 47-year-old coach has faced severe criticism following the team’s failure to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament. The Black Stars’ poor showing in the qualifiers, where they ended with three draws and three losses in six matches, placed them at the bottom of Group F with only three points. The President of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC), Ben Nunoo Mensah, last Friday led a delegation to console the family of the late Emmanuel Tetteh, former President of the Ghana Judo Federation, at Osu in Accra. Accompanying him were the President of the Ghana Golf Association,Mr Mike Aggrey,the President of the Ghana Swimming Association,Mrs Delphina Quaye, the President of African Baseball, Mr Albert Frimpong and the President of the Ghana Cricket Association, Mr Emmanuel Owusu Ansah Asare.
