The leadership of the Ghana National Union of Technical Students has taken note of the one student, one laptop policy proposed by Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia at the 60th Anniversary of Hohoe Global Evangelical School. The proposal is positive and should be advanced. It is in the right direction to equip students with necessary I.T. skills, and laptops can help facilitate learning of these skills. The government should also provide necessary tools and equipment to enhance teaching and learning for TVET and STEM programs, especially in technical universities.
