Fire Service Issues Fraud Alert Over Fake Appointment Letters, Prospectuses

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) says it has uncovered an ongoing recruitment fraud involving fake appointment letters circulating on social media. In a Facebook post on Tuesday, 3 December 2024, the Service disassociated itself from the fraudulent activities. “Fake appointment letters and prospectuses circulating on social media are not from the Ghana National Fire Service but the work of fraudsters,” the post emphasised. Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has opened a fire service Academy and Training School in Wungu, in the North East Region.
