Firefighters from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) faced significant obstruction and heckling from bystanders while responding to a bus fire at Akatsi. The fire involved the rear of a KIA bus with registration number AC 1229-24, which was en route from Aflao to Kumasi. The emergency response team, which received the distress call, arrived at the scene within four minutes and successfully extinguished the fire in two hours.
