Former Chelsea midfielder, Frank Lampard, is “closing in” on his next managerial position. According to The Mirror, Lampard is set to be appointed new boss of Coventry. It is a move that will see him join Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney in the Championship. Lampard has been out of work since May 2023, which was a second spell in charge of Chelsea for 11 games as interim boss, after Graham Potter was sacked.
