Former Speaker Prof Oquaye leads NPP’s 11-Member Committee To Probe 2024 Defeat

A former Speaker of Parliament, Prof Mike Oquaye of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is to lead an 11-member election review committee, set up by the NPP to investigate the party’s heavy loss in the just-ended 2024 general elections. Justin Frimpong Kodua, the party’s General Secretary, said the committee’s terms of reference include reviewing the internal elections and campaign strategy, identifying the challenges that led to the electoral defeat, and proposing solutions.
