FIFA instructor Edward Franklin has highlighted that Ghana has a vigorous football establishment capable of developing talent for its national team to compete at the highest level. The Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council has established four new developmental national teams for boys and five for girls. The GFA now has boys’ teams at U-16, U-18, U-19, and U-21 levels, alongside existing U-17, U-20, and U-23 teams. For girls, the teams are set at U-16, U-18, U-19, U-21, and U-23 levels.
