Ghana, Morocco, and South Africa accounted for over half of the sub-Saharan region’s exports of digitally delivered services, according to the latest estimates from the World Trade Organization (WTO). The WTO report, which analysed trade data from 2022 to 2023, positions Ghana as the leading exporter of digitally delivered services on the African continent, with exports valued at $6.2 billion in 2022.
