39 Democracy Hub Protesters Remanded For Two Weeks

Thirty-nine (39) participants from the Democracy Hub protests have been remanded into custody. A bench warrant has been issued for one protester who was previously released on police inquiry bail but failed to appear in court, despite being aware of the proceedings, according to the prosecution. This brings the total number of individuals brought to court to 40. Ghana's Information minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has charged the Ghana Police Service to as a matter of urgency, clarify reasons protestors were prevented from occupying the Jubilee house yesterday.
