The former minister for Trade and Industry, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, is shocked over reports of his intended alliance with the Convention People’s Party (CPP) and Ivor Kobina Greenstreet, a former flagbearer of the latter. Highly placed sources close to the multiple flag-bearer contender in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) told The Chronicle that the reports carried by the media cannot be true. The flagbearer of the Convention Peopleâ€™s Party (CPP), Ivor Kobina Greenstreet says he will continue to lead the party until he is given a chance to become President. The Convention Peopleâ€™s Party on Saturday elected Mr. Ivor Greenstreet as its presidential candidate for the 2020 general elections. He defeated two other contestants; Mr Bright Oblitey Akwetey and Mr Divine Ayivor, for the flagbearer slot.
