The Bank of Ghana has reiterated its commitment to combating the circulation of counterfeit currency. The Central Bank emphasizes its progress toward achieving a zero-counterfeit regime. Counterfeiting and possessing counterfeit banknotes are illegal and subject to legal consequences.
