The High Court in Accra has rescinded its bench warrant issued for the arrest of the Director Generals of the Criminal Investigation Department(CID) and the Legal and Prosecution unit of the Ghana Police Service for failing to appear before the Court for Contempt. This was after the Police leadership through Superintendent Sylvester Asare, head of the Legal and Prosecution, appeared in Court on Wednesday, April 17, to apologize to the Court for their inability to show up in Court previously.
