Calm In Sudan As Rival Factions Observe Truce

A state of calm remains in Sudan's capital Khartoum with the start of the 72-hour truce between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF). Saudi Al-Arabiya TV on Tuesday morning said the truce has been holding so far and "there are no complaints of violations". There were no reports of sounds of gunfire and the streets of Khartoum remain largely empty.
