CAF Awards 2023: Osimhen, Mane, Salah make Men’s Best XI [Full list]

The Confederation of African Football, CAF, has unveiled its Men’s Best XI for this year. The continent’s best were unveiled during the CAF Awards on Monday night. Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen, who was named Player of the Year, leads the attack along with Mohamed Salah (Egypt) and Sadio Mane (Senegal). In midfield, Thomas Partey (Ghana), Mohammed Kudus (Ghana), Sofyan Amrabat (Morocco) and André-Frank Zambo Anguissa (Cameroon). The defenders are Achraf Hakimi (Morocco), Kalidou Koulibaly (Senegal) and Chancel Mbemba (Congo). Andre Onana of Cameroon and Manchester United star is the goalkeeper.

Ghana international Ernest Nuamah has been nominated for the Young Player of the Year at the 2023 CAF Awards. Nuamah was an instrumental player for Nordsjaelland during the year under review as he was close to guiding the club to the Danish Superliga title. The 20-year-old finished the 2022/23 season as the Player of the Season in Denmark, the Young Player of the Season. The forward was also nominated for the 2023 Golden Boy Award.
