Burkinabe side Rail Club du Kadiogo have eliminated Asante Kotoko from the 2022/23 CAF Champions League in the first preliminary round. The Ghanaian champions lost 3-1 on penalties after the tie ended 1-1 on aggregate. Asante Kotoko lost the return fixture 1-0 on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. Asante Kotoko recorded a 1 – 0 victory over Burkinabe side RC Kadiogo in the first leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
