The Sales and Marketing Manager of DPS Industries Limited has been dragged to the Dansoman Circuit Court for allegedly investing the company’s GH¢491,000 in casino and online sports betting. According to court documents, Depak Sonar, who had been accused of dishonestly appropriating GH¢681,000 from the company used the GH¢491,000 for the investment while using the remaining GH¢190,000 to settle personal debts. Sonar has, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge of stealing when he appeared before the court presided over by Halimah El-Alawa Abdul-Baasit yesterday.
