The Vice Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, on Thursday, commissioned an ultramodern library in honour of the late President John Evans Atta Mills. The former Energy Minister, during the event, described Atta-Mills as a good man and a great statesman who, in his view, found himself in the wrong party. The John Evans Atta Mills Senior High School and Ekumfi TI Ahmadiyya SHS in the Ekumfi District of the Central Region, have been left in total darkness after personnel of the Electricity Company of Ghana disconnected their power over debt owed for several years. The situation, is said to have compelled some of the boarding students in the hostel facilities most especially females to abandon their dormitories and sleeping with their colleagues in town at night.
