What can one seat do for Ghana’s politics? A lot, as it turns out. The recent Assin North by-election has shown it isn’t just love that money can’t buy, as the Beatles sang – it can’t buy votes either. It has magnified Ghana’s political pitfalls, shattered the moneycracy myth, and catalyzed the need for change and reform in Ghana’s politics.
