Tragedy struck at a filling station in Dormabin in the Krachi East Municipality of the Oti Region, when armed robbers opened fire, killing one person. The Ghana News Agency (GNA) gathered that the victim, Isaac Dampoki, had visited the filling station to purchase fuel, when the robbers, armed with guns, stormed the premises and shot him. The robbers are said to have made away with GH¢9,000, after they had begun shooting sporadically, hitting the victim in the process.
