The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced a fresh process for a rerun of its internal elections in the Akwatia Constituency to elect polling station executives, electoral area coordinators and constituency executives. Some aggrieved members of the New Patriotic Party in Akwatia sued the party in the Koforidua High Court last year, asking the court to declare the last internal constituency election held null and void over some major irregularities.
