President Nana Akufo-Addo on Friday urged Germany to “encourage” China, an ad hoc member of the Paris Club, to support Ghana’s debt restructuring efforts. President Akufo-Addo has appointed the Minister for Employment and Labour Relations, Ignatius Baffour Awuah as the Minister for Pensions. Mr Ignatius Baffour Awuah’s appointment took effect on Monday, January 30. The appointment is in accordance with Section 211 of the National Pensions Act 2008 (ACT 766).
