A Ghanaian politician, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A-Plus, has been sued by the Coalition of National Zongo Political Groupings for allegedly exploiting the death of investigative journalist Ahmed Suale to gain public attention. The lawsuit, led by Yahaya Alhassan, who is the National Chairman of the Coalition, claims that A-Plus, a well-known Ghanaian musician and social media blogger, made inflammatory statements in a viral video where he claimed to know the identities of Suale’s killers.
