Court Orders Traders At Agbogbloshie To Stop Selling On Pavements Or Be Imprisoned

An Accra Magistrate Court has ordered ten (10) Yam sellers at the Agbogbloshie market to sign a bond to be of good behaviour and not to display their goods for sale in any pathway or avenue of a market. They are Frank Telekpon, Marboriwe Ntekellama, Awiase Mmolebe, Wisdom Bindiche, Ebenezer Benkom, Yindo Mohammed, Kiki Majaba, Bepa Yayen, Seth Ngmagna and Nakulin Elija. 23 Arrested At Agbogbloshie For Selling Foodstuff On Bare Ground

Public Health Officers from the Accra Metropolitan Assembly(AMA) have arrested some twenty -three (23) traders at the Agbogbloshie market for selling foodstuff on bare floors and under unhygienic conditions. The arrest which was made on Wednesday when the AMA in collaboration with Multimedia Group (Joy News/ Joy FM) resumed the   “Clean Ghana campaign” an initiative that seeks to help enforce waste management laws and educate the general public on how to manage waste.
