Morocco is set to be named host nation of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), according to Joy Sports sources. The North African country will replace Guinea who were stripped of the hosting rights over delay in making facilities ready for the competition. Current holders, Senegal, are also to be named hosts of the 2027 edition of the tournement while Nigeria and Benin will be co-hosts of the 2029 tournament.
