The Member of Parliament for Abetifi and former Minister for Agriculture, Bryan Acheampong, has donated GH₵300,000 to help traders who lost their goods in a fire at the Adum Bluelight Market in Kumasi. The fire, which happened on Friday, March 21, 2025, destroyed many shops and goods, leaving several traders without a place to work or sell their items.
