Government is reported to be considering plans which will see the Agriculture Development Bank (ADB) takeover the operations of the National Investment Bank (NIB). Agriculture Development Bank appears to have benefited immensely from the injection of capital from the Ghana Amalgamated Trust as its year-on-year profit doubled, hitting GHS60 million, according to its unaudited Third Quarter financial results.
