Abdul-Aziz Yakubu’s Al-Ahly Move Falls Through Over Medical Concerns

Ghana striker Abdul-Aziz Yakubu’s proposed move from Portuguese side Rio Ave to Egyptian giant Al-Ahly has reportedly fallen through. The collapsed move is down to a medical issue stemming from two surgeries on Yakubu’s knee that prompted Ahly to opt for a six month loan with an option to buy instead of the straightforward four and a half year deal reportedly agreed initially.
