The government will borrow ¢1.83 billion today May 5, 2023, on the treasury market. The amount will be raised via the issuance of 91-day, 182-day and 364-day Treasury bills. This will be used to refinance upcoming maturities estimated at ¢1.75 billion. In this regard, ¢800 million fresh funds will be added to the new issuance. Analysts perceive yields could remain slightly elevated on tight liquidity conditions, until inflation data is released next week.
